Leather Carnival

This is going to be a hell of an event. MJ's Tavern will be closing off their parking lot to make room for all of the awesomeness. The KnightHawks, Sanctuary Enterprise, Access Aids, and Hampton Roads Pride are all coming together to bring the fun to everyone. There will be a Beer truck to help quench your thirst, A DJ to help keep the groove going, A live band later in the night to roxors your boxors A demo room to tantalize and entertain BootBlacks to give those leathers that special attention The Hampton Roads Branch of the Carter Johnson Leather Library to feed your knowledge WishCraft will be there to answer that question of where you get such marvelous toys There will be a rigger station providing opportunities for you to get tied by your favorite local riggers Midway games yes.. after-all it is a carnival... Raffles with great prizes from many of our local and corporate sponsors An awesome auction with TONS of high quality items again generously donated by our sponsors A COMPLETELY EPIC JELLO/LUBE wrestling event where you will have a chance to take an active roll. One of our sponsors has committed to providing us with a 55 gallon drum of lube. The plan is for the Knighthawks to sell pre-loaded squirt guns to help keep the wrestlers lubed up. This is a open event, and there is room for your participation. There are a number of 10x10 booth-spaces available for groups to come out and promote,educate and raise funds. There are different categories of booth spaces available, the best part is most of them are free. If you would like to promote your group, or special interest we have a space for you and we want to help you raise funds for your group/interest. All we ask is that it be in the form of a midway game or like a carnival food or face painting or henna and if you are really brave we will make room for a dunk tank(hint hint). If you would like to vend we do have spaces available but are limited by vendors already attending or invited to participate all we ask is that you donate items to our auction/raffle prize pool. If you do not fit into either of these categories and would like to participate contact us and talk about what it is you would like to do and we will do what we can to get you added to the awesomeness that will be this event. Demos, we have entire separate building, closed off out of the way for some VERY special demos, as with the booth space there is space still available for performers. Performers will be scheduled into timeslots, now with entrance to the building being controlled we have a but more lee-way in the types of performances, unfortuantely we still have to abide the decency laws so thingsneed to be covered etc etc. But again if you have an idea talk to us lets see what we can get away with. You are not limited to those types of performances, we are open to jugglers, clowns, magicians etc if you want to dust off that rabbit in the hat routine lets us know ... just dont bring the wrong hat... We already have a guy that can tell you how old you are just by feeling your boobs so gonna have to get creative. This is not all we are currently in talks with some really exciting folks to come hang out and share with us all. There will be more announcements as we get everything more fleshed out but this is an exciting time, and we are super excited.
