Listen to the Governor's School for the Arts' String Quartet perform in Memorial Garden at 5:30 p.m. & then catch their Jazz Ensemble perform in Huber Court at 7:30 p.m. Listen to Reads & Writes and Two Bars from the Gun perform on the stage in Mary's Garden from 6:30 - 9 p.m. while you enjoy libations from O'Connor Brewing Company.
Be sure to pick up some NEON swag to wear during the celebration.
At the Glass Studio, our assistants will transform the space into a Neon hotspot. Visiting Artist Tom Moore from Australia will be creating his trademark whimsical works to the musical accompaniment of local favorite Joe Hamm.
There will be a cash bar at both the Studio and the Museum, and Members get a free drink ticket.
This month's Third Thursday is free to all, and is generously sponsored by The Capital Group Companies and Virginia Natural Gas/AGL Resources.
After Third Thursday shuts down at the Chrysler, join the free after-party at Work|Release, 759 Granby St.
